How to recognize digital addiction in yourself and then help your family

Yesterday I taught a Fresh Start Family Culture Trainer Certification workshop at Beloved Recovery in Roseville. Beloved Recovery founder, Mary Lisa Patton, B.A.Psych, CADCII, ICADC, ISI, brought with her a very compelling articled penned by Dr. Don Grant, publisher of Amplified Magazine, a Division of The American Psychological Association, which declared digital devices as the new designer drug that has inspired a global pandemic of addiction.

It is true that all innovations can be used for good, or not good. This goes for matches, the automobile, prescription drugs and smart devices. The question remains who is in charge? You or the device?
